On this 7-day trip, expect all the feels. From touring the busy markets and cultural wonders of Kolkata, to connecting with women and girls in rescue centers and local communities, this trip is an experience of a lifetime.

We aim to inspire our guests to remain involved in the fight to end intergenerational exploitation and gender violence, and to join us in giving women and girls tools to build bright futures.

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrivals to hotel, welcome dinner 

Day 2 – Introductions and presentations, Learning Center site visit, (vocational trade training) make a piece of jewelry with one of the female metalsmiths

Day 3 – Visit Mother Theresa’s Tomb, rescue center site visit with arts workshop, artisan market

Day 4 – Red light resource center site visit with arts workshop

Day 5 – Middle School site visit with arts workshop

Day 6 – Calcutta Walking Tour, site visit, final group dinner

Day 7 – goodbye breakfast, departures

Each option includes a $3000 tax-exempt donation to Her Future Coalition.

Trips are limited to 15 guests and a $500 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve a spot. Full payment is due 90 days proper to trip dates and no refunds available after final payment is made. Payment plans and options to fundraise are available.

  • Many guests choose to stay in India longer to explore other parts and/or plan to visit the Taj Mahal together
  • We offer a Zoom meeting before trips for attendees to meet each other, this helps with travel anxiety! 
  • We try our best to link solo attendees up at layover airports so you have a travel buddy arriving to Kolkata
  • We know trips like this can be scary and exciting. Please feel free to reach out and we’re happy to chat through logistics. Once registered, you’ll have a good flow of emails regarding all aspects of the trip and expectations. A 12-page preparation guide is sent a few weeks before the trip, as well.
